Creative Centerpieces & Décor
Forget flowers! Why not invest in centerpieces that will last and can be used later? Pick out a unique three-dimensional free standing abstract sculpture (or a variety of sculptures in a uniform color). You can add a base like a chunky candle holder, or a rustic log stump, a painted cake platter, or a painted or covered box (you can use flowers if you like for adornment or embellishment) to add height to the sculptural piece or pieces you select. Or choose a wall sculpture and create a base for it to make a unique and versatile centerpiece you can decorate your home with later.

Floral Fantasy
If you are thinking “How dare you say, forget the flowers!” this whimsical wedding idea is sure to delight! If you’ve been to Disneyland you’ve surely seen the amazing shaped shrubs, especially those around the Small World ride. Hello Inspiration’s calling! It would sure be memorable to have several oversized topiary (either geometric or sculpted into recognizable forms) situated around the room or down the ceremony aisle. They don’t have to be real to have a dramatic effect either, your could always tuck flowers into artificial rented topiary. Imagine a French Garden Installation brought inside, so Versailles! If towering topiary doesn’t tickle your fancy, what about fun table top topiary like this cute little hen or playful hydrangea topiary? Love it!
(You can rent larger topiary trees and shrubs! A quick Google search and we found these three: Town and Country Event Rentals,  Designs By Lisa, and Ambiance Rental. You can also buy smaller topiary at Target stores.)

Light as a Feather
Soft, feminine, and irresistibly tactile, feathers can be an amazing source of inspired décor! You can wear them, arrange them, hang them, and display them on top of crystal candlesticks or tall vases for spectacular centerpieces. You can find them in patterns, a variety of colors, and a variety of sizes (so convenient!).

Great Gatsby or an Art Deco 20’s themed wedding would be a great candidate for feather décor as would a playful Broadway themed or theatrical wedding. Bring on the boas & brandy!
