Save the Date Ideas: From Crafty to Creative and Everything in Between!


If you’re debating whether to send Save the Dates, you’re not alone. While certainly not required, there are situations where they can be useful. From research we found save the date notifications should be used for destination weddings and are recommended for weddings held during busy times of the year. Sending save the dates allow your guests the opportunity to budget their time and make arrangements to attend. Hana, Co-Founder of Wedding Republic, recommends sending save the dates out 6-8 months before your set wedding date. After browsing the Internet for some creative save the date ideas, we found a few we loved. Record a video for family and friends. It doesn't have to be fancy, just whip out your iPhone and be your awesome selves! Upload your video to Youtube and send out the link for a much more interactive email announcement.
